About this site
An independent guide to the casino table game Criss Cross Poker: the rules, the pay tables, the odds and a free practice table.
What this is
This site exists to explain one game properly. Criss Cross Poker is easy to play badly and surprisingly interesting to play well, and most of what is written about it online is either thin or wrong. Everything here is checked before it is published.
Where the numbers come from
The pay tables and the house-edge figures follow the published analysis of the game at the Wizard of Odds. The hand probabilities on this site were computed directly by enumerating all 2,598,960 five-card combinations rather than copied from anywhere, and the game engine that runs the practice table was checked against published expected-value figures before launch.
If you find a figure you think is wrong, please say so. Corrections are welcome and will be made.
What this is not
This site does not take wagers, does not handle money, and is not a casino or a gambling operator. The table here uses play money that cannot be deposited, withdrawn or exchanged for anything. Nothing on this site is gambling advice, and none of it changes the fact that the house edge is real and permanent.
